That day has finally arrived. At the Beachbody Coach Summit, the all new flavor of Vanilla Shakeology was announced and we are very excited about it.
What is Pure Vanilla in Shakeology?
There are many types of Vanilla which are not as pure like other Shakeology ingredients. You may have seen other healthy shakes that are labeled as vanilla but those are not 100% pure. This is usually due to other elements being added.
Beachbody did not want to compromise on quality of their meal replacement shake so it took some time to find a vanilla bean for Shakeology that would meet their quality standards.
And they did! The new Vanilla Shakeology is untainted, flavorful and with ethically sourced vanilla beans. Found in the Madagascar jungles, Malagasy farmers meticulously hand-pollinate delicate vanilla orchids and harvest the beans.
Over the course of several months, the beans are blanched, sweated, sun-dried, and conditioned, which releases their robust flavors. By using these particular beans in Shakeology Vanilla, we can be sure of their traceablilty, as well as the fact that they are being sourced in an ethical and sustainable way.

Vanilla Shakeology contains 130 calories, 16g of protein, 14g of carbs, 7g of sugar, and 2g of fat. This new flavor contains whey protein and a small amount of natural pea protein to round out the amino acid profile.
You will also be happy to know that it is gluten-FREE! However, keep in mind that Shakeology Vanilla is produced in facilities that also handle gluten based ingredients. If you have a concern about gluten it is best to consult your doctor before making any dietary changes.
