This month’s P90X One on One workout, Post Activation Potentiation (P.A.P.) will have you building power, strength, and explosiveness. You’ll be crushing your workout with Speed Slaloms, 4-Ball Chaturangas, and more, guaranteed to turn you into a puddle of sweat in 70 minutes.
In this P90X One on One workout, you’ll be working on neuromuscular coordination and elasticity warm-ups. You will need them! P.A.P. is the enhanced and immediate muscle force output of explosive power training movements after a heavy strength training exercise is performed. Sound good?

P90X P.A.P. workout includes 2 complexes: the lower body and upper body. Tony begins with a lengthy warm up. You’ll find yourself walking on your heels across the room, performing walking lunges and reaching to the floor with elbows inside the knee, and sun salutations. That’s just the beginning.
Moving on to Skippers – yes, you’ll sort of skip around the room and Under the Fence pushups.
The warm-up is designed to prepare you for the P.A.P. moves. Love the stretches. Lying flat on your stomach with sprawled arms, bend one leg up and over, twisting the lower body and get a good back stretch. Then get yourself across the room crossing one leg in front and then in back nice and fast.
The Plyo Clapper Pushups are killer. I’m not there yet but it was fun trying. How about using 4 medicine balls and hold a perfect pushup position with arms bent on the balls? You’ll be sweating just holding that position, it’s that tough. Don’t worry, if you don’t have medicine balls, you can use the floor.
After really pushing yourself, you’ll welcome the great stretches at the end. Your body will really feel this workout.
