Using Meditation to Reduce Stress

Can five minutes a day really keep the Doctor away? According to Yoga Booty Ballet co-creator, Gillian Marloth-Clark, daily meditation can help you to lower blood pressure and prevent stress-related illness by slowing life down some and taking the much needed time to reflect.

Are you a person who has not yet tried meditation, or just can’t seem to find the time to meditate and be quiet and calm? Gillian Clark gives a one on one about the benefits of meditation in the video below.

For centuries, people have practiced some form of meditation. Originally it was to enhance your spiritually understanding. Today however, meditation is used more for relaxation and stress reduction. It is a mental workout intended to produce a state of relaxation. Meditation also produces tranquility and emotional stability with long lasting effects.

By meditating for just five minutes, you can get massive benefits! You can reduce stress , lower blood pressure, avoid heart attacks, or avoid anything related to stress related illnesses!

Don’t be fearful of trying meditation. Anyone can meditate, anywhere! It’s easy and inexpensive. Just take a seat on the floor. Set a timer for 5 minutes. Sit and refrain from fidgeting, try to be still and just focus on your breath. During your sitting clear your mind of the information overload that accumulates daily in your mind! This brings you into a state of being in the moment and helps you to tune in to what’s happening in your body.

Meditating will give you a quick stress relief in the time it would take to get a cup of coffee. Meditation is also for everyone of all ages too!
