You start out on the floor with very slow motion, concentrated crunches. When you do slow motion crunches, you eliminate momentum and feel every muscle fiber contracting. You do the same slow movement, alternating between center, across, and bending to each side. In TurboFire Abs 10, Chalene Johnson makes sure that every rep is effective. With shoulders off the mat, you do the concentrated crunches for 3 minutes before going up on a 45 degree angle. Ouch! Chalene then gives you a series of ab exercises that require you to lean back on that 45 degree angle. It’s a tough workout!
You also do exercises like Training Camps and Frog, keeping those abs pulled in tight and lots of slow motion ab movements!
