P90X2 is the newest home fitness program by expert trainer Tony Horton. This sequel to P90X will be available for pre-order in September 2011 and shipping in late November. That gives you plenty of time to prepare for P90X2!
We’ve heard some great feedback about this 90-day program that includes more intense workouts to help you get in the best shape of your life.
Here are 3 ways you can prepare for P90X2:
- Workout with P90X: No matter how many times you’ve done P90X, do another round! Make it your best effort yet. Put yourself to the test by raising your intensity bar to prepare for even more intense workouts in P90X2 . If you have never done P90X, start now. You’ll finish right on time for the release of P90X2 when it ships in late November 2011.
- P90X One on One workout: Rotate in One on One workouts from volume 3. If you remember, the exercises in volume 3 were experimenting with new muscle confusions techniques that would later become P90X2. With all the new X routine concepts introduced in these exercises, I recommend rotating in the tougher workout DVDs. These include Base and Back, P.A.P., Chest, Back & Balls, and Shoulders and Arms. It will give your body a chance to start working on new muscles and prepare for the intensity that P90X2 brings. Click here to purchase P90X One on One DVDs.
- Proper nutrition and sleep: Don’t be eating donuts and partying until all hours prior to starting P90X2. Get your body ready by eating a clean diet. Cut out the junk food – no cheating! Drink Shakeology everyday too since it will be part of the P90X2 Nutrition Plan. And don’t burn the midnight oil. The worst thing you can do for your body is deprive yourself of sleep! When you do intense workouts your body needs to recover and sleep is one way that happens.
P90X2 is a game-changer workout! You’ll get in even better shape with muscle confusion 2. With more intense workouts, supersets and complexes, be smart and prepare!
