I think Insanity is more for those who need to lose fat while building abs. P90x seems to be for those who are already low on fat and need to tone and build up.

I have done both multiple times. I think that insane abs is a little better because cardio is the key to losing weight around the waistline and revealing the abs underneath the fat, rather than just building ab muscle and not burning the fat above it. Either way, i always give up around the third week because im a bum. i got pretty close though haha

@Evan
Insanity's Cardio Abs is different than Insanity's Insane Abs. The Insane Abs version is a more advanced substitute for the Cardio Abs that is available in the deluxe package of Insanity

I have done Insanity and am half way done through P90X.
I have done both Insane Abs and Ab Ripper X.
They are both hard, but I have to say P90X's Ab Ripper X is definitely the better of the two.
I feel a lot more of a burn from Ab Ripper in just a short 15 minutes than from doing 30 minutes worth of Insane Abs.
Both are good ab workouts, though, and I would suggest you try them both out.

Ive gone through both P90X and Insanity. I find that while both ab workouts are good extremely good at working the abs, I would prefer Ab Ripper X. My reasoning is mainly due to the fact that Ab Ripper seems to be a better ab targeting workout, while Insanity's Cardio Abs seems to involve more cardio than actual ab workout.
