Get ready for Beachbody’s newest programs Muscle Burns Fat and Muscle Burns Fat Advanced. Created by Super Trainer Megan Davies, #mbf and #mbfa are designed to do back to back.

These 3-week fitness programs include strength training and cardio so you can burn fat while building lean muscle.

What is Muscle Burns Fat Workout?

Muscle Burns Fat fitness program includes simple moves that you can easily. With #mbf, you can let the tempo set your pace. You can also expect an intense total-body burn.

Muscle Burns Fat and Muscle Burns Fat Advanced were created to do one right after the other.

Each workout is 3 weeks long. When you finish the first 3 weeks of Muscle Burns Fat, then you move on to Muscle Burns Fat Advanced (#mbfa) for the next 3 weeks.

#mbfa is more intense than #mbf and can help you get even better results!

  • Program length: 3 weeks
  • Workouts per week: 7 workouts
  • Workout length: 25-35 minutes
  • Fitness level: Beginner

  • Program length: 3 weeks
  • Workouts per week: 7 workouts
  • Workout length: 25-40 minutes
  • Fitness level: Intermediate

What are the Workouts in #mbf and #mbfa?

Here’s what you can expect in this amazing new workout!

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: asymmetrical moves using one weight.
  • Tuesday and Thursday: Cardio workouts.
  • Saturday: feature EMOMs (every minute on the minute) that will push you to give everything you’ve got.
  • Sunday: recovery workouts will stretch and revitalize your muscles. You’ll need and appreciate this workout!

What Equipment do you need for Muscle Burns Fat?

  • Light, medium, and heavy dumbbells
  • BOD Rope
  • Cordless Indoor Jump Rope. Saturday workouts also feature EMOMs (every minute on the minute) that will push you to give everything you’ve got.

And don’t worry — these workouts are not about bulking up. Both workouts are aimed at getting you lean and toned. I love that!

Who is Megan Davies

Megan Davies is a personal trainer with a motivating and simple workout style. I love her positive personality. She makes it easy to follow along and keep going during a workout. Megan has experience training clients and holds certifications from NSCA and CPTS. She’s even opening her own gym!

Megan won THE 20s, a Beachbody fitness reality show. She also created the Clean Week fitness program, one of my personal favorites!

Who Should do the #mbf and #mbfa Workouts?

#mbf Muscle Burns Fat is a workout for beginners. It features simple, easy-to-follow moves and 25- to 35-minute workouts.

#mbfa Muscle Burns Fat Advanced is an intermediate fitness program. It features  longer 25- to 40-minute workouts that build on the moves you learned in #mbf and includes Megan Minutes, which are 1-minute challenges using heavy weights and low-rep burnouts.

When are the #mbf and #mbfa Workouts Available?

Muscle Burns Fat will be available on Beachbody On Demand (BOD) for VIP Early Access on July 27.
