MAX BUILT by Shaun T: A New BODi Strength Training Program

September 8, 2026 By Coach Lisa

I’ve been doing BODi workouts for a long time.

And I’ve tried a LOT of different programs.

So when I first heard about Shaun T’s new program, MAX BUILT, I didn’t immediately think, “Oh, another new workout program.”

Instead, I thought:

This one might be different. And here’s why.

See the current BODi offer!

I’m Not Looking for More Complicated Workouts

At this point in my life, I don’t need a workout that has me jumping around the room trying to keep up with 20 different moves.

I want to get stronger.

I want to maintain muscle.

I want to challenge my body without making exercise unnecessarily complicated.

And that’s what caught my attention about MAX BUILT.

The premise is pretty simple: lift weights, focus on one muscle group, use good form, progressively challenge yourself, and get stronger.

That’s something I can get behind.

MAX BUILT is a nine-week program with five workouts per week, and the workouts are approximately 30–40 minutes. You’ll use dumbbells and an adjustable bench.

πŸ‘‰ If getting stronger is one of your goals, see if MAX BUILT is right for you. Want to save 15%? Use my promo code LISAJBODI at checkout to get 15% off qualifying BODi products.

Why Strength Training Matters to Me

I’ve always enjoyed working out.

But I’ve also learned that fitness isn’t just about burning calories or seeing a smaller number on the scale.

Strength matters.

Especially as we get older.

I want to be able to carry things, get up and down easily, stay active, and keep doing the things I enjoy.

And maintaining muscle becomes even more important as we age.

That’s why I like the idea of putting more emphasis on strength instead of always thinking about how many calories I can burn.

It’s not about being the strongest person in the room.

It’s about becoming stronger than you were yesterday.

That’s a goal I can get excited about.

And Then There’s Shaun T…

If you’ve ever done one of Shaun T’s programs, you already know he brings some serious energy.

I’ve done plenty of challenging BODi workouts over the years, and Shaun has a way of pushing you when you start thinking, “I don’t know if I can do this.”

But MAX BUILT isn’t about doing complicated combinations just to make a workout harder.

The program is intentionally straightforward. You concentrate on the muscle you’re working, your form, and choosing a weight that challenges you.

And I actually like that approach.

Give me a few good exercises and let me focus on doing them well.

Here’s What Really Interests Me About MAX BUILT

The program uses progressive overload.

Basically, you’re not supposed to stay at the exact same level throughout the nine weeks.

The program progresses through three phases, changing things such as reps, rest periods and intensity so you’re continually challenging your muscles.

That makes sense to me.

Because if you always do exactly what you’ve always done, eventually your body gets used to it.

I’d rather have a plan that says:

Start where you are. Then build from there.

You Don’t Have to Be a “Gym Person”

Another thing I like?

You don’t need a room full of equipment.

MAX BUILT requires dumbbells and an adjustable bench. I was able to do the exercises without an adjustable bench.

That’s it.

And because there isn’t a traditional modifier, you control the intensity by adjusting the weight you’re using.

So if you’re newer to lifting, you can start lighter.

If you’ve been lifting for years, you can challenge yourself with heavier weights.

You’re not competing with the person next to you.

You’re working on you.

Nine Weeks Sounds Doable

Here’s another reason I like the idea of MAX BUILT.

It’s nine weeks.

Not forever.

Nine weeks.

Five workouts a week.

About 30–40 minutes.

I can commit to that.

And think about it…

Nine weeks from now, you could be exactly where you are today.

Or you could be stronger.

I’d much rather see what happens if I commit to the nine weeks.

Want to Do MAX BUILT?

MAX BUILT is available now on BODi!

Some days you don’t feel like working out.

Some days you’re tired.

Some days you would much rather skip it.

You don’t have to feel motivated. You just have to show up.

So here’s my challenge:

Give yourself nine weeks.

Don’t worry about being perfect.

Don’t worry about lifting the heaviest weights.

Don’t compare your progress to someone else’s.

Just show up, lift, and get a little stronger.

And then see what happens.

πŸ‘‰ I’m giving MAX BUILT a try. YOU can get started here.
