Les Mills Pump Combat Workout Review

I was super excited to try Les Mills Pump Combat, a martial arts inspired workout. This workout includes moves that are familiar to boxing, kickboxing, Tai Kwon Do and Muay Thai! Are you ready for some kicking and punching?

Part of the Ultimate Cross Training Deluxe package, Les Mills Combat is one of the best cardio workouts ever. It’s fueled by motivating music and led by 5 of the best instructors so you know you are in good hands. Coming in at 45 minutes, you’ll hardly know the time is passing.

The first time doing Les Mills Combat, the moves were a little foreign to me. I had no trouble catching on since the instructors are very good about showing the moves and techniques. The choreography is easy to follow. One of the instructors Jericho, also sticks with low impact modifications so you can follow her if the high octane is not for you.

I had so much fun doing Pump Combat that I hardly realized how much energy I was using until I was done. It was truly a full body workout as every part of my body participated in this exercise with left/right hooks, jacks in and out, squats, knockout moves, double back knee kicks, and much more!

The fight combinations were challenging since I had not used my muscles in that way before. Once I conquered the moves, I was able to turn my focus to speed and endurance. Yep, I broke a sweat!

Here are a few benefits you can expect from Les Mills Pump Combat:

  • Tone key muscles
  • Improve heart and
  • Burns lots of calories for that lean look
  • Improve agility
  • Better core strength

When I was finished with the Combat workout, I felt it! The next day, soreness set in to all the right places. I love this workout and recommend it as one of the aerobic options instead of walking. It’s a whole lot more fun and you can really rip it up with no equipment required.
